theres a mod id be really interested in trying (i seriously doubt its compatible with TTW though) that turns New Vegas into a Riddick rpg. Mods can offer alot of diversity as well, not just with game mechanics etc. you could also choose to play only using a certain low tier weapon, i knew a guy who had a FO3 char he called "John The Face Hitter" he'd walk around in a jumpsuit with a baseball bat looking like Dale Gribble and would wreck super mutants days cause he only put points in the melee skill till it was maxed. for example you could make an addict character where you would take every chem and/or alcohol item as soon as you get it, having to compensate for the constant withdrawl would make gameplay pretty interesting i imagine. Redownload the latest version of this mod, reinstall, and load up the game. Talk to Amanda, dismiss her as a companion, and rehire her. You can also do specific RP/self imposed challenges. Download the 1.6 version of this mod and replace TiesThatBind.esp with that version. i had always played on normal withought hardcore mode on, now ive started playing on very hard using hardcore mode and while it is much more challenging, its still doable even for a casual gamer like me, better yet it feels like theres actually consequences for the things i chose to do, or where i choose to go, or how i choose to build my character. there are plenty of ways to make the gameplay more interesting, even without mods.ĮG. i would say its totally worth it to start over.
To answer the other part of the question.
I may have missed something here, but I'm pretty sure you can neither import a Fallout 3 character, nor use a pre-existing New Vegas one if you start TTW.
